Valentina is an Armenian-American Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #115693). She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of California, where she focused on working with survivors of sexual assault and practicing trauma-informed care.
Valentina walks with her clients down a transformative path, helping them slow down, soothe their nervous systems, and create a deep sense of safety within their own bodies. Drawing from a rich tapestry of therapeutic modalities, she employs a psychodynamic-strength-based approach rooted in somatic practices and mindfulness. Her therapeutic style is eclectic—embracing the wisdom of neurobiology and trauma-informed care.
In addition to her mind-body focus, Valentina specializes in sexual pleasure, sexual pain, sexual wellness, and various sexual dysfunctions. As a certified sexual assault crisis counselor, Valentina has extensive experience providing compassionate therapy for survivors, utilizing evidence-based techniques. Valentina’s personal experience with Endometriosis has also led her to teach yoga and meditation for individuals who also struggle with Endo.
Outside her therapeutic practice, she finds joy and restoration through yoga, meditation, and reading. As an avid film buff, she loves exploring the world of cinema. Long walks in nature rejuvenate her spirit, and she has a special place in her heart for animals, recognizing the soothing power they bring to our lives.
