Amber uses a compassionate, trauma-informed approach with her clients and believes in incorporating humor as you work together to create a richer and happier life. She utilizes modern pain theory and neuroscience to help you better understand the meaning and function of pain & symptoms and will guide you towards meaningful change and symptom reduction using a mind-body approach. She will work with you through an attachment lens to help you strengthen your relationships with others and yourself, ending the common cycle of self-abandonment and moving towards authenticity. She will help you regulate your nervous system to decrease central sensitization through grounding and mindfulness techniques, with the goal of helping you feel safe in your body and safe in the world.
Amber’s own experience with Endometriosis and fertility issues deeply informs her work and gives her a deeper understanding of the difficulties involved in these, sometimes, interconnected issues. Amber works with the top female reproductive and Endometriosis specialists in Los Angeles and firmly believes in interdisciplinary care, consulting with her client’s medical team when appropriate.
In addition to patient care, Amber provides supervision and training to other mental health professionals centered around providing psychoeducation and trauma-informed care to support women with female reproductive health complications (Endometriosis, pelvic pain, fertility complications, PCOS, Perimenopause, Menopause, and hormonal disruptions).
